I think they should have an episode with a train. Especially one in a flashback. The railroads that used to run through Virginia were the Southern Railroad, Norfolk & Western, Chesepeke & Ohio, Sea Board Air Line RR, Virginian, Richmond, Federicksburg & Patomac, and the Atlantic Coast Line Railroad. For those unfamiler with these lines The N&W and Southern merged in the 1980's and became Norfolk Southern, The C&O was merged with several other rail lines and became CSX and the Seadboard Air Line RR, Atlantic Coast Line RR, Virginian and RF&P railroad no longer exist. I think a flash back or something involving the mention of any of these old rail lines would give a solid clue as to where in Virgina Stoolbend is. LOL on the Touching cloth

The true location of Stool bend in my opinion is Lynchburg Virginia. it has everything that is featured in the show, mountains, a river (the James), rednecks, obese people, adult children living at home, religious fanatics, and a small African American community, a run down bar (The Depot Grill), and the occasional bear sighting. I am been disappointed with the choice of town name. Stool Bend bring to mind human waste curled up an a toilet somewhere, and Cleveland's high school nick name "Hot Brown" is a continuation of the creators potty jokes.

Definitely made up ! I guess stoolbend is the u-bend in a toilet :-D

Another clue is the baseball team called the turtlehead - which a phrase in the UK meaning you are absolutely busting to go to the lavatory for a s**t !!

usage - "where is the nearest toilet(bathroom) - I have got the turtle's head here. if it is more 20 yards away I will be dropping it in my pants(underwear)."

pity they didn't call the bar " Touching Cloth" - another "turtlehead" phrase

I have lived in VA for 20+ years. I had a job doing inventory for Wal-Marts (traveling ALL over VA). I've never heard of Stoolbend before this show. I think the name is made up. You can do searches on other small towns (small enough to not have a Wal-Mart) like Body Camp, Tappahanock, or Huddleston, and you will get results.

Its in the Shenandoah valley.Obviously because of the mountains and the rednecks.I live in Waynesboro VA and The cleveland show has references to my area.Ifyou catch the begining when the camera swoops down to the ground you can see the Shenandoah valley. It swoops down near "The Noke" aka roanoke.I was crackin up over this show because of the resemblances of the valley.I love Augusta County and Yes we have Black people.
