In our series “Stoolbend Character Sketch” we will profile the colorful residents of Stoolbend, Virginia. The Cleveland Show is chock full of charismatic personalities and we will give each cast member his or her own bio page.
Cleveland Junior is the 14 year old son of Cleveland and Loretta. After gaining custody of his only child after the divorce, Cleveland decides to move from Quahog, Rhode Island to California in the hopes of becoming a minor league baseball scout.
Just a kid, Cleveland Jr has no say in the matter but seems agreeable enough to go along peacefully with his father’s plans.
The last time we saw little Cleveland Jr, he was an overactive and precocious little boy. Peter Griffin had every intention of taking Jr’s golf talent and capitalizing on it in order to prove he was a good parent.
Fast forward to present, and suddenly this little boy has aged about 6 or 7 years and practically doubled in girth. Meanwhile, Meg, Chris and Stewie haven’t become any older. This point is touched on in the “Pilot” episode when Peter notes that Cleveland Jr has aged faster than Kathleen Turner.
Cleveland Jr is an overweight, soft-spoken and sweet child. He now has an affinity for unhealthy snacks like lollipops, chocolate and popcorn. He seems to have a genuine love for his dad, which is somewhat different from the Griffin children.
It will be interesting to watch as Cleveland Jr’s personality traits are further developed. For now, he seems like an innocent and well-intentioned kid with a weight problem.

Cleveland Jr is a cool lil dude, I hope they focus on him a lot. Wonder if he likes video games?
I can’t believe is 14 years old now. Wow! He really got old fast.
